Cyber Essentials is the UK government-backed security certification for small businesses. It guards against the most common attacks and shows customers and investors you take security seriously.

To get certified, you need to meet the requirements in five areas: firewalls, secure configuration, user access control, malware protection and security update management. You can certify your whole organisation or just part of it.

We help you decide the scope, check where you stand, fix what needs fixing and take you through certification with our partner CyberSmart, an accredited certification body.

Cyber Essentials Plus

The same scope, plus a technical audit by a qualified assessor, done remotely. On-site audits are available if you need them.

Certification is like an MOT: it only proves you were compliant on the day. CyberSmart Active Protect checks your devices continuously and tells you, or us, when something slips.

How it works

Check where you stand. We review your current setup against the Cyber Essentials requirements.
Plan the fixes. A clear plan to close any gaps.
Put the controls in place. We help you implement the technical controls and policies you need.
Get certified. We complete and submit your assessment to CyberSmart. For Cyber Essentials Plus, a friendly qualified assessor then runs the technical audit.

Wherever we can, we negotiate software discounts and pass them on. Concierge customers get any project that fits in a day included.
